Chickamauga 8/9/06

Went out on Chickamauga this morning after work to mark a few spots on my GPS for tonight. Fished a creek channel that runs into the main river channel with a carolina rig and a DD22 from 8:30 till 12. Had 3 keeper largemouth and 1 spot. Biggest fish was 3lbs 2oz on a carolina rig. Caught all fish from 15-30ft deep and most at the mouth of the creek around structure. Caught fish early on DD22 then switched to carolina rig as the sun got up. Time to get some shut eye before tonight.

I saw you this morning heading to the lake as I was headed up 58 to work! LUCKY! What's going on tonight, you gotta Tx?

No tournament. Just getting ready for Saturday morning. I am on a few fish but they are all small. My five biggest last night would have only been about 11 or 12lbs. I did catch the biggest bluegill of my life last night. I am going to Pigeon Forge this morning and going to stay till Friday so I am not going to be able to fish anymore till Saturday. I have a picture on my camara phone. I will have it at the tournament tonight. I caught the thing on a finese worm. I have big hands and this thing was way bigger than my hand. It almost did not look real.

Those bass i have been catching on the 1/64th ounce jig with the piece spicey beef jerkey trailer do not look right either. The bass i have been catching are bigger than those cats you try to catch. Oberto beef jerkey does not work, it has to be jack links. I am hoping that we will have around 20 or so pounds for the tournament tonight that is if the 2lb test holds up. Cheez, I might need a couple of your catfish rods for these fish i am on.
