Chickamauga Crappie 3/6

First time fishing with the new crappie limit. After baby-sitting my two grandsons for most of the day I decided to fish off my neighbors dock in lieu of launching the boat. Started about 4:15 and had a limit of 15 by 4:45. Fish were in 4 feet of water and were everywhere and not in cover. Used a 1/32 oz head with a yellow and chart tube under a float. Very few were less than 11 inches. These fish were caught in the Ware Branch area.

That sounds great. Most of the fish that we were on today were over deeper water. Were the fish that you were catching white crappies or black crappies? I think that every one that DK and I caught today were black crappies.

Nice bunch of fish! Sounds like they can't wait for the temps to rise a little before they begin spawn.
