I got to try out the Primo grill again today, I cooked chicken leg quarters and chicken breasts, they turned out perfect. I put some McCormic pork rub on them, I also skinned the chicken. I cooked 10 pounds of leg quarters and 5 pounds of breasts. When we ate them I used some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce to dip the meat in. This chicken was ausum, best i have ever eat. I cooked everything at one time and the grill was full, I cooked them at 275 degrees for one hour. (brother Cheez gave me the instructions) so if you ever need some cooking instructions for anything on the grill, cheez is your man. The pic below shows the chicken minus 2 leg quarters and one huge breast, the chef and chefette done those in a few minutes a go.

I forgot to add that I put water in the drip pan under the chicken, this made the chicken moist all the way thru.

Sur, I heard you burned up your first batch of meat on your new Primo, wouldn't Cheez let you in on any secrets on how to cook it? Did you go to sleep and let it cook too long?Wetwilly, give me a shout sometime and I will get some of your famous monkey dust from you.

Please give us some more information Doc, what did spur do? Enquiring minds, well I just want something to rag him about....................

I think he was drinking when he put about a hundred dollars worth of meat on the Primo, passed out and burned it up, burned so bad the dogs wouldn't eat it. His wife and kids had to go hungry too, this is sad, sad, sad.

bent rod - 3/4/2009 11:25 PM Looks great Gary! Maybe you can go over and show Spur how to cook.

Rick, I would go over and show him a few things that Cheez showed me but all he has left is some hot dogs left over from a fishing trip, ain't worth the trip if I wanted to eat supper with him.
