any idea on how this will affect the water levels? damn closed and not running water through or set to a standard release rate? the lake level has basically been the same for the last 5-6 days when historically the first of april it starts coming up.

Only the recreational area at the dam is closed. The dam is still operational, so there should not be any impact.

TVA’s Lake Info App shows the water level on Chickamauga increasing about a foot/day for the next 3 days. That’s as far out as the app projects.

So raccoon mountain ramp is open but the ramp at the dam is closed. Arent they both TVA controlled

Yes, but no park to gather up at down there might be the reason it's not closed.
