Launched out of Soddy about 10 a.m., fished wind blown points (which weren't hard to find!emoSmile ) till noon or so. Never could get a big bite but caught several little ones. The wind got so bad after that I figured I better fish my strengths, so a flippen I went. Finally got on a pretty good dock pattern and managed several keepers about the same size. Fish were way in the back of the docks along the shade lines in about 2' of water. Water was stained and about 57 everywhere I went. Beautifull day, but the wind changed directions every 10 minutes so it was hard to keep boat position when it counted. Still, better than work!emoSmile emoSmile

It's always good when you figure them out and can reproduce it at other locations. If you don't mind my asking, what did you flip them up with?

Wish yer picture was bigger so I could see the dang fish better. :) But it looks like a nice one. What did you do to your left hand? Or is that a fish holding glove or something you are wearing???

Anyway .. it was a nice day to be out and on the water makes it extra special. Even if the wind was a PIA.

:) Thanks for the report!

Jason, I flipped all kinds of plastics, all were pretty good as long as they were the color of green mud. No other color would work, and I also couldn't get any hits on a jig, go figure.

TT, I went and jabbed my finger with a screwdriver a couple of weeks ago. It got infected and ended up in hospital for a week and three operations. Anyway, that glove/cast protects the stitches. Kind of makes for awkward hook sets, but where there's a will there's a way.

Woooo .. that sounds ugly!!! Hope you recover soon and get back to being an unhandicapped fisherman!!!

By the way .. tell wifie to lock up the tool box. It's obvious you need girlie supervision before using such dangerous tools. emoLaugh

Heck, I told her that if she would just let me fish, and quit givin me stuff to do, this never would have happened. I don't think she bought it.....
