Chris Coleman (CFF's FishinMagician) is going to be awarded a retroactive state record for a "northern" spotted bass after TWRA officials decide to establish separate record categories for the native "northern" spots, and the transplanted "Alabama" spotted bass.

Congratulations to Chris!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. It is truly amazing to have seen Chickamauga Lake come from what we once called the Dead Sea to the great fishery we now have right here in our own backyard. We are truly blessed. Great article as always Richard.

Congrats to Chris and thanks for another great article Richard. So Chris now has the State Northern Spot record and Wesley Strader has the State Alabama spot record? Is that correct?
