For those who do not know, the man considered the best modern sniper in our military was tragically killed by a former soldier he was working with. Kyle was a former Navy SEAL who served four tours of duty in Iraq, where he was given the nickname "The Devil of Ramadi" by insurgents due to his sniper skills. In 2008, he made his longest successful shot after he spotted an insurgent with a rocket launcher near a U.S. Army convoy at a range of 2,100 yards (1.2 miles). It's a sad day for America asthis man was a hero of mine and I wish his family the best. He was a true American hero much love and respect. Rest in peace Chris Kyle. I recently finished reading his book after surgery and can say without a doubt this man is the kind of soldier that has helped our country protect its freedoms for over 225 years.

he was the man, anyone with as many kills as his (155 confirmed and more than 250 possables)and who can keep his s++t together upstairs had to be a good person to know and be around.my favorite sniper was carlos hatchcock.( white feather) vietnam

And yet, the President of the United States, had not a damn thing to say about him. Maybe if he had attended the ingaurgation, then been killed by a CHICAGO GANG....he might have been recognized. I'm done.

i agree,i dont have much of anything good to say about our pres.you dont hear about all the folks that where in a situation where some idiot tried to rob or kill someone and a legal gun owner fended it off.
