Well I just returned from my first hunting trip. I went with my brother, dad, and a couple of people that are associated with dad's work. And it was a blast! My new gun worked great, and apparently I'm a great shooter... that or I just got extremely lucky. lol We hunted both Chukar and quail- more quail than chukar because their cheaper. I shot at 8 birds.... and to my surprise, and everybody elses, I hit the first four birds I shot at, with only four shots! Now again, I am new to the sport, so that in itself was an accomplishment. The final count for me was 7 birds- and I shot at 8. So my ratio was pretty good. The total count I think was 4 chukar (out of 6), and 12 quail (out of 20). Guys let me tell ya, the place where we went was phenomenal- from the people that run the place, and the layout of the preserve was outstanding- go check it out. go to: http://farmhousehuntingpreserve.com/ for more information and directions. I would think Quail are lots harder to kill........ but no doubt you done good.... but I found out by a missed birdie that someone shot a whole box of shells......... go figure.......J/K sounds like you done good......maybe your eye sight is improving.... Lord knows it would help your strike zone......hahhahahha FAemoEvil emoEvil </font>

Hahaha FA... Now you're complaining about my strike zone?!? You know, I can always make it smaller! lol I did have a lot of fun on that trip. I'm chomping at the bit to be able to go back out. Maybe I'll try pheasant or dove hunting soon.
