We need to figure out where the Classic will be held guys. Not just because DDNichols is making shirts, but because it just needs to be nailed down and put on the schedule. Let's hear your thoughts and opinions.

I know Nickajack is a good lake around that time, but my vote would be to have the Classic at Chick out of CFP. Just my opinion. Let's hear your thoughts on the matter

Let me be the first to stir it up--117 Bridge. I'm serious, but I don't expect it to happen.
What I like about it is it's not familiar water to most of the qualifiers and a good facility. Plus I like the idea of another Gunt. tourny.

I'll fish anywhere.

Guntersville in October Ron? I Would rather have internal bleeding. The Chick is fine with me. If the vote is G, I'll go along with that too. Just the kind of guy I am.

I've had internal bleeding Jerry, it's not that bad!

I don't have a problem with the 117 bridge. Some may want to go up form SM and some would head down to the grass for LM. The grass bite should be on at both the G and the Nick. The SM should be heating up below both the Chick and the Nick dams. I've never been to the 117 bridge. It would be different. Sounds good to me. We get some more use from our Bama license. But most of the guys probably want the old home lake of the Chick. Not my favorite choice for that time of the year, but what ever!? I'll vote for the 117 bridge just because it would be different, and the two types of fishing options.

Not to shoot myself in the foot but Al licence expires at the end of August, probably gonna renew anyway.

How about Chesterfrost and allow lock through on this one. Do a 10 hour pull too. Lets mix it up a bit!

Nick frog bite could be on and Chick was pretty good last year too.

I am all for Chick...the fall bite should be good on the lake and if the shad are moving around, everyone weigh in fish.

We could put up a vote for the general public to vote on. I could put it up tonight and run it through the end of the week listing all the ideas listed here as the options. What about that? Then no one has any reason to bitch about our Classic location. Just a thought.

Adam..votes and polls screw us everytime..LOL. I say we just make the call and set it in stone. They will fish. </p>

Well Adam, I believe you're dead on. The members are what this thing is about!
I agree, put it up for a week and count the votes. Should be a loaded forum-but fair!

Yea we can do the Classic from Safe Light til 4pm and 5 fish. That sounds great. Now we just need to nail down the location.

This may not be the time or place, but maybe in the future CFF should consider a 2-day classic. Have one day on the Chick and one on the Nick. Could make for some exciting results.

A couple of us discussed it last year but never really took of with the idea. Its something to look at next season for sure.
