Just saw on Bassfan where congress has passed this bill which prevents imminent, unprecedented EPA
regulations on boaters and protectecs water resources. This means it will exclude recreational boaters and
anglers from the federal and state permitting requirements under the Clean Water Act designed for land
based industrial facilities and ocean going commercial ships.
So what this means is recreational boaters will not be required to follow a multitude of new rules and
regulations and be exposed to fines. We just need the president to act fast in signing this bill.
