Calling ALL fisherman under the age of 18! My name is Caleb Luzader, I am the president of the Cleveland Jr Bass Club. We are a junior bass club based out of Cleveland, Tennessee. We have meetings every first monday of the month. We have six qualifying tournaments starting in March and ending in September. We fish mainly Chickamauga Lake, Nickajack Lake, and Parksville lake. Our club is affiliated with BOTH B.A.S.S and FLW. Which gives you TWICE the chance to qualify for a state tournament and succeed. We are also ALWAYS looking for boat captains. So if you would like to be one for a upcoming tournament PLEASE shoot me or revo pro a PM I joined the club three years ago. I have learned so much from all of the boat captains and leaders in the club. I started only knowing really how to work a texas rig. Now I have placed in the top two in several state tournaments. The lessons and information you will learn in the club is amazing. Our dues are $55 a year. Very affordable. And we have a 20 dollar fee for tournaments for gas for the boat captains. If you don't have the money, Its ok we won't turn you down. We don't want anyone not be able to be in the club because of a financial crunch. We meet at the Justice Center in Bradley county the first monday of every month. We have one tournament a month. So its not that much of a liability. If you have any questions Call me at 423-650-8935 or PM me.

I will say that the Cleveland Jr. Club is a great club and you can learn a lot from it. I was a member of the club for 3-4 years and it was a great time and is ran by a great group of guys. If you have kids that want to fish then this is a great experience for them.

Travis when I got out of the club about 5 years ago they had pond tournaments and lake tournaments and there were some pretty young kids in the club. I am not sure how they do things now but it was a great learning experience for the younger guys.

My oldest (10 yr old) is can already hold his own in the boat with me as my partner as you might can tell from some of the pics in my album in the fishing photos section. He has even beaten me a couple of times when I have let one of my buddies have him for a partner. We won a tourny last year on tuesday night on watts bar and he put all our keepers in the boat. He just needs to learn to depend on himself more now and start trying to figure things out on his own instead of just doing what I tell him to do. I think this might be a good way for him to get started in that direction. If he is still to young that is ok. It will give him something to look forward to getting into in the next few years.

TnSabre that is a prefect age to get him started im the vice president of the club and love it you really should consider it

Caleb. I always thought it would be a good idea for the local middle schools and high schools to start teams teams of junior fisherman. If you have curent members in each of the schools they could be the point person for getting it set up. If you can get an adult sponsor in each of the schools to help coordinate the activities it would really help. This basically how the high school sporting clays program got started in Tennessee and it has grown into to a very large program.

It would really increase your club membership.

This might be a good series for catmaster... he's 12. Be good for him to fish with someone other than me. Where are the 2010 tx's? What is the format?

OK Caleb, I will have my tub there when I can, thought there was to be a freezeout tourny this month? Enjoyed having been a part of the challenge and seeing youngsters getting into the sport. See you on H2O
