I took a trip to Dalton to meet up with Coach B. and order me a rod from him. If you have not seen his rods, you need to do yourself a favor and check them out!! They are outstanding and of course custom made! He also wanted me to pass along to you catfisherman, that he has some outstanding blanks. He let me test one of them, and I can tell you a fish won't break it!! As soon as I get my rod from him I'll post some pictures!! On a side note, he's also a great guy to just sit a chat with. He goes over every detail about the rods and can explain everything. Pretty cool stuff!!! I highly recommend giving him a call!!

Picked up one of my rods today!! I can't go fishing until Sunday and it's killing me!! I"ll try to throw some pictures of it up tomorrow. It's a beautiful rod!!! Everyone needs at least one of Coach's rods!!!

Well after spending 2 straight day fishing, I was able to really use my "Coach's" rods a lot! Let me just say that I had already been impressed with the rods, but now I am absolutely in love with these rods!!! With the spiral wrapped eyes, you get to fight the fish without the line rubbing on the rod. I caught some really nice fish over the last couple days, and these rods make it really easy to get the bigger fish in! I own 2 Kistler magnesiums and every time I catch a decent fish with them, I feel like my reel is going to fly off the blank and the fish feel much bigger than they are.Not with Coach's!!  Davo seemed very impressed with the Coach's rods as well! I encourage anyone looking for a new rod to contact Coach first!!! Everyone needs to own at least one of these crankbait rods!!!</p>

How do they compare to Loomis? I'm sure Coach makes some good rods but comparing against Kistlers isn't apples to apples. IMHO kistler is the sorriest rod made. I went through 8 of the high end Kistlers in a year. All broke! None of my other rods break. Bring one of the Coach's rods next time we fish together if you don't mind.

You'll like them Lance. Best (small/medium) crankbait rod I've ever owned. I'll use it for jerkbats and buzzbaits too.
