Cold Morning on Chick 2-10-07

[Nitro]

Started out this morning on a bluff trying to get out of the cold wind. Partner boated a 5 lb LM on a jig in about 12 foot of water. Moved up River and fished some shallow creeks with -1 and trap and blanked. Came back down River and tryed fishing some rocky banks and the wind was too much!! Called it a day at 11:00am.

Oooh! I know it was bitter out there. One good fish warmed things up... for a while anyway. emoThumbsup

What happened with the tournament this morning? I figured it was to cold and windy for many people to show up. Anyway, congrats on landing a good fish, maybe you'll find him again next week. Count me in for next week, I'll be there for sure.

We only had 3 boats show up so we all agreed to just fun fish. Most of the regulars fished the free tournament. Hope we have a good turnout next week!! Who is fishing with you next week? Matt? I still haven't got my boat back emoBang !!! They said it will be another week and a half .
