We fished from mullins cove down to hales bar dam and managed one little guy right at 4 pounds dropshotting threadfin shad. We fished maybe 10 spots some within 30 feet of each other. We also had prefished on Friday and didnt catch anything so the 4 pounder was a welcome sight. We pulled up on crazyhorse just as he got the winning fish in. I think the solution today was dynomite! I was kind of disappointed with the few fish we had between us. I kinda thought someone would have them figured out. We went up wolftever creek afterwords and caught about 20 crappie but we didnt have any keepers. the folks I talked to didnt have any keepers either but the ones we did catch came on a panfish assassin under a rattle bobber next to docks. All in all a fun day with my dad. Im gonna try again tomorrow for the crappies.
