Coming from Nashville

I had planned on going to Dale Hollow tomorrow, but it looks like its going to get rained out up there. The weather in Chatt looks better for fishing. Coming from Nashville, what is the closest/safest ramp to launch at? Is the fishing better on one end of the lake or the other? Are there any big tournaments going on tomorrow?

Fishing Nick, Chick, or G? North end of Guntersville is the first ramp off 24 at Kimball. Skip next exit, then the Nickajack Dam exit by the Loves, 3 ramps within 3 miles. Marion County park and Shellmound are on the Nick and Nick Dam there too. You could get off 24 at Haletown and go highway 41 to Sullivan's, about 10 more miles. Chick is probably another 45 miles and some other guys will need to tell you about that. Nick is my area.

I was thinking Chick, but any where that's going to be warmer and dry is fine.

There are a couple tournaments but no big ones. Not sure any part of the lake is fishing better than another at the moment. Coming from Nashville Harrison Bay State Park or the ramp at the damn would be the closest for you .
