You would be very surprised at the amount of people that actually fall for these scams! I see them all the time coming into the bank with fake cashiers checks ( the checks look very real ). Everything from lotteries to secret shoppers to inheritance. emoRolleyes

I have had several Nigerian lottery winners lately. Also, a couple of days ago, a fellow called saying he could get the interest rate greatly reduced on all my credit cards for free! I asked him what was in it for him and he had some cockamamie story about getting paid by the credit card companies. All he needed was our card numbers and SS number. I told him it sounded too good to be true so Ideclined his offer!
