It looks like TVA is planning on keeping the flow constant at 13-14,000 cfs for now. That seems different to me as from what I remember the flow pattern is usually lower from morning to about 10 or 11 AM and then raises the flow to 20 to 40+cfs until evening. I always assumed that they used that generation schedule to provide more electricity at the peak hours of usage during the day when the days are warm. It will be interesting to see how the constant flow both day and night will affect the fishing. It seems to me that it might be good for the fishing that I do because whenever the flow changes in the downward direction it usually shuts the bite off for a while. When there is constant flow it seems that the fishing is more consistant. What do you guys/gals think this flow pattern will do you your fishing?
