A good friend of mine has a Classic coming up on CH. Does anybody know anything that I could pass along to him?

Passed by there two weekends ago and noticed alot of grass. I know I have heard of people catching fish around that grass but I have never fished the lake, only below the dam for Sauger. There is usually a fishing report in the Tennessean Newspaper for CH. Might check on-line. Good luck!

No recent fishing reports, but you have to keep in mind that Cordell Hull is a bit of a different lake. Most of the river flow coming into the lake is from the cold water discharges upstream from both Lake Cumberland and Dale Hollow. Waters temps in the main channel of the lake are usually vastly different from those back in the creeks. Your friend will likely have to do some searching around to find the "right" temperature that both he and the fish are comfortable with.
