Has anyone had to send their Costas back for repair? I wondered about their experience. I sent mine back on 8/3 to have the nose pads replaced, and just received an email today asking me to call the repair dept. they are sending me a new pair because mine were discontinued(?????), and they couldn't just put new nose pads in mine. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate new glasses, but it has taken almost 2 weeks for them to decide to do that, and now it's gonna be another "3-5 business days to process the order". The price was right though; $11.95. Guess I should just shut up and be happy! emoAngel

I sent mine back in June, cause the rubber nose piece came off. Mine were repaired and sent back within 2 weeks. I'd take a new pair for $12 though.

That's all that was wrong with mine. They were in great shape as I had babied them. But, like you and Fishnvol said, $12 for a new pair......
I just thought that was a little slow, but good things come to those with patience. emoAngel

Mine were discontinued and they let me pick out any frame and upgraded my lenses for $11.95 i was stoked.

That's typical, but their repair/ warranty policy has changed slightly. A few years ago I sent some glasses in because I broke the lens....my fault. The glasses had been discontinued so they sent me a new pair for around $11.50. Now when you send them in you will be responsible for something like $90 for lenses. This seems fair to me since breaking the lens is hardly a warranty issue. I just got a pair back from them yesterday and they look better than new.
