So me and a buddy were torn between Cottonport and Frostbite last night. Cottonport was closer and we had never fished it, so we headed that way around 5:30. My buddy likes to be super early so we got there with plenty of time to spare. TX time said it starts at 7 but we didn't blast off till safe light (7:30ish). Together we were running on 3 hours of sleep which always makes fishing a much tougher grind! Great group of guys! We really enjoyed everyone we met. Fishing was pretty tough to say the least. We came in with the only limit and caught our kicker with about 20 min left. We had just over 17lbs for the win and big fish was 6.6lbs. I think there were 6 boats that fished. Great day to be out on the lake. The current was rolling pretty good most of the day and water temps were 46-47. If you live in the area you should definatley come out and give this one a try.
