My son, Hunter and I headed to the Lake about 4:00pm. We put in at Mud Creek and fished til dark. Most of the fish came off weeds in 4-6 fow. WE didn't put any monsters in the boat, but we did catch 25 before dark. Most were 2-4 pounders. If you guys are not fishing Big Hammer swim baits you should give them a try. I started using them at Dale Hollow with some I picked up at the Celina One-Stop, since then I have caught smallies at Dale Hollow, Spots and Crappie at Lake Martin and Lewis Smith Lake, Largemouth, drum, flatheads on Wheeler, Stripe on Nickajack, and Largemouth on Guntersville. WE rig em on a 1/2 oz jig head and slow roll em or just a steady retrieve. We rig em weedless on a worm hook and fish em like a fluke. Either way, the fish kill them. They have the best tail action of any swim bait I have used. Check em out at : www.swimbait.com
