"The Cougar Network" claims it is confirmed by TWRA but TWRA only confirms the report not the authenticity

Not hard to believe. I've seen a big black cat that large in the Big South Fork.

We have a big cat on our trail cam in our back yard here in Ringgold you can't see its head in the picture but you can see from its back and shoulder blades its a cat. We hear it at night sometimes and have found quiet a few paw prints around our property from it

Yall can joke all you want but when you experience the different screams they make in the dark and watch one trot under your stand at daylight it aint so funny then, ill never forget it and I know from what I saw there is no mistaking one, I saw it in the eightys on the side of jasper mountain.

Doesn't matter what anyone else says to me, I know for a fact they have been at least roaming through East Tennessee for some time. I personally saw one in the middle of a field in the daylight and two other hunters that have hunted for thirty plus years each saw one. None of these were split second sightings, they were all a extended period of time. Also, bears are making a permanent home here as well getting trail cam pictures of them all year long.

Was standing in a friends yard with 6 other guys in Swedons Cove and we all watched one run across a 20 acre pasture in broad daylight. We all just sort of looked at each other. This was in the 80's. Lived in the mountains all my life and this is the only one I know for sure I have seen.
