Kid I know wants to go coyote and hog hunting at night with a light on public land near skull island. Believe its tva land off thatch rd. Told him that you can't hunt hogs or coyote at night with artificial light in Tn. Can anyone confirm this or read it differently than I do also don't know if any hogsnear there thanks in advance

Illeagal all the way. Hogs can only be hunted on private land and land owner must have applied for the wild hog tag with the TWRA and there is no big game hunting allowed at night at all!

Thanks Justin that's what I thought and didn't think there were hogs there and didn't think you can run wild and free on tva land

Yes. You can hunt that property, and yes there are a few hogs in that area. My old tax partner killed a giant one several years ago on private land adjacent to the Tva land.

That property is still covered with hogs if it's the one I know of, just never seen any like he shot. That was a mutant for this area.

Heck no not at night!!
That's the craziest thing I've heard of, hunting his and coyotes at night. Tell that kid take his butt to bed and focus on school.
