Same deal as last year. We will be having a barbecue dinner but instead of Sportsmans it will be at Spurhunters church where we had the Christmas party. Last year dealing with change was a pain so it will be an even $10.00 for a barbecue dinner that includes Pulled Pork sandwich Baked Beans, Cole Slaw and a drink. Please remember that all profits will be going to CrackerFest prizes. Like last year we need 20 people eating for it to be worth putting on. Hopefully we can get a fishfinder guru to help out and show us all a little bit about our electronics as well as a map guy to talk a bit about maps. We will start at 7:00 and go until everyone has had enough to eat and talk about. A laptop can be hooked into the projector so we can look at maps that way or we can use just a regular old projector.

The address is:
2508 Glass St, intersection of Chamberlin Ave.

hey guys if you could reply to this thread as well as adding your name on the calendar. Helps me keep up with the eaters

Count me in!

Hopefully the shoulder will be well enough that Spur won't have to spoon feed me. emoBigsmile

bump. Please sign up in this thread so that we can get to 20 people. Without 20 people this won't happen as the costs will eat up too much of the donations.

Right now it looks like we have between 7 and 8 signed up. Once again if we don't have 20 folks its not worth doing as my costs will take up most of the collection. Please sign up in this thread if you intend to come. Last year we donated over 100 bucks to buy prizes for the kids for Crackerfest and for those of you that remember the barbecue was pretty tasty as well.

Its unfortunate but since I would have to cook this weekend I am going to have to cancel this fundraiser for lack of participation.

Thanks Craig for once again stepping up and trying to help the kiddos.
I know last year, you raised over $100 for gifts for the event and that was much needed and appreciated!
It is unfortunate that more people had not signed up and I 100% back your decision to cancel.

Unfortunately, we too may not have the 5th annual Cracker fest.
There hasn't been anyone sign up at this point anyway and with the lack of donations, I am seriously debating on cancelling the event. I may make a last ditch attempt to see if Sports Academy would be interested in helping out.

With the addition to my family, I don't have the extra $$ to dish out as I did the first 3 years and last year with the economy, we had a few donations and bought several things with the $$ generated by Craig and we had participates families bring an item, to be given away. I hate to ask individuals to go that route again. I started this for the kids and to have an inexpensive day out with the family and to see the smiles on the kid’s faces. Unfortunately, we may have to skip a year.
Announcement will be made by the end of the week.
