I would love to post all these pics in one long line so you could see them all at full size, but there are so many that it would take a long time for them to download for some members so I made this photo gallery.

This is my second time attending and I think I would rather see a Crackerfest weigh-in over any other tournament I have ever seen. Please take a look at each pic full size if you can. I think this event needs TV footage to do it justice in capturing all the fun and memories created. The smiles say a whole lot, but seeing it live is really hard to convey in words or pictures. I personally feel that it's about as right as a fishing event can be.

Congrats to LL and Sharkbait on a well deserved win with a sackfull of monster bull bluegill along with many other impressive catches today from CFF members - I think nearly every boat had 10 nice fish to weigh-in from what I could tell. Last year was great but I think this year was even better!

One can see that there's a lot of work that goes into making it fun for the youngsters and I estimate there was about 100lbs of fish cleaning afterwards to provide food for the CFF Picnic. THANK YOU JSV - WELL DONE! I and many others appreciate your very generous efforts on this wonderful event! Thanks also to Churly for the awesome shirts too!

Thanks to everyone involved. Baylee and I had a blast. We got on the big bluegills good. Never saw a cracker, but that's OK. After about 20 minutes, I knew bringing my pole was useless. I'd throw it out, baylee would set the hook and wind in another one. she eventually got tired and asked me to wind a few in for her, but I think she just felt sorry for me. This was our first time out together without her lil bro and Mom along and this went more more like I would want. The proof was in the fact that on the way home as we were crossing wolftever, she saw that laqke and said, "That looks like a good place to fish there, Dad, lets park and see if we can catch a big one. I tried to put her tackle box next to mine in the garage but she wasn't having that. She put it in her closet. She had sucha great time. Thank you all for putting this together!

It was nice to meet all of you and get to faces with the names.

We can't wait for next year!!!!

JSV definitely had a great hit this year.  We enjoyed it so very much!!!!  When I left the fish cleaning party at 8:00pm, he was still in great spirits!  At the point that I left there were approximately 5 1/2 gallon size bags of fish for the picnic so I would say that it was  a job well done today.  Cant wait to see what he has to post about the final results.  I think today had to have been a true fellowship with fishermen and the children alike....cant wait till next year.

Still cleaning fish. We'll talk more in the morning when we finish up.....................

Thanks all who attended!! JSV, it was a great success, thanks for all of the hard work!!! I had so much fun watching the kids weigh-in that I did not even remember to weigh in my crack of sackers;) Looking forward to next year!! All the shirts have been claimed and I hope no-one was left out.

That's about the truest thing I've read on here. Well said DHaun. It really makes me proud to be affiliated with such a fine bunch. emoThumbsup
