CRACKERFEST 2009

JSV will hold the annual crackerfest tourney on May 2nd. It will be a 10 fish limit of shellcrackers/bluegills. More details are posted on the may calendar.</p>

We didn't have much choice however the campout is scheduled for Friday night. Who's to say you couldn't camp out, cook and still attend the Crackerfest? After all as long as you are pre registered you could start fishing at what ever time Saturday morning from where ever you are as long as you make it to the get together and weigh-ins at 1pm Saturday afternoon.
May 9th is the CBA, May 16TH THE CFF TX. and May 23rd is my B-day (actually it is Memorial Day weekend and not a wise date to pick). You still have May 30th but the consensus thinks that is too late as do I. We had it on the 27th two years ago and it was so hot plus the Crackers had already spawned. I think it was that year some folks didn't make it back to the weigh-ins due to the heat. Hopefully the 2nd will produce some good fish for the kids!

We are hoping to be there and at all tourneys that we can possibly find. We are pretty new to fishing Tourney's. We plan on buying our new boat within the next two weeks. Nothing Brand new but new to us.
