CRACKERFEST 2008I am way behind on getting any donations for the kids. Matter of fact I have not even started. If we have enough interest, I will get started and see what donations I can get in this short amount of time. We do have some small items remaining from the picnic but theirs nothing really the kids would be excited about. I have also noticed very few people have even signed up. If you are planning on fishing this event........PLEASE sign-up. I have noticed a few changes in the recent months to the site and I am not on near as much as I use to be however this is a great event and the kids have a great time. I came close to canceling the event but after being told stories of Fathers scheduling vacation in order to attend this event as well as the countless smiles we see on our kids faces during the day, I realized this event must go on. I signed up and can take 3 kids and another adult. I just need to know the specifics. I will donate boat, gas, and gear, but I don't have any juvenile pfds. Let me know what you need and I will try and do what I can.

Hey JSV,
From the start I really wanted to go to this but unfortunately I have to work.emoDoh But the thing I wanted to make you guys aware of when this post came around I looked to see who was on the list and to my surprise my name was there,emoScratch which I removed, I have had to do this another additional 4 times, and I read that Mr Simms might have had the same problem,, as for planning your head count might be way off if this has happened to some of the other people as well..

I don't have a problem supporting kids and introducing kids to fishing, but I have not saw the original link where i signed up. I see a lot of posts here and on other forums and I volunteer to help where I can, but I just don't see the post. Could someone please direct to the original post with dates so I can double check my work schedule. I work every third weekend and I need to check before I can commit 100 percent. I looked back and searched back and just can't find it. Thanks.

BTW I can donate some Gummie savers candy for the kids most definatly, I just need to know how and where to deliver them, and to whom.
