CRACKERFEST.....PLEASE READ

<font style="" size="2"><p style="">Sorry, I posted this in the General Fishing Area. I thought it to more appropriate here.</p><p style="">CRACKERFEST 2008</p>

I am way behind on getting any donations for the kids. Matter of fact I have not even started. If we have enough interest, I will get started and see what donations I can get in this short amount of time. We do have some small items remaining from the picnic but theirs nothing really the kids would be excited about. </p>

I have also noticed very few people have even signed up. If you are planning on fishing this event........PLEASE sign-up. </p>

I have noticed a few changes in the recent months to the site and I am not on near as much as I use to be however this is a great event and the kids have a great time. I came close to canceling the event but after being told stories of Fathers scheduling vacation in order to attend this event as well as the countless smiles we see on our kids faces during the day, I realized this event must go on. </p>

TNDOE and I will be working on the donation end of the thing so please sign-up.</p>

Wish I could make it but the future nephews can't make it... I hope ya'll have a blast, also...</p>

I posted a while back that if crackerfest needs prizes and support from First Light to please let me know, and I'll work with the event coordinators and First Light to come up with some things.  I never heard back from anyone, so the line it back out there, let me know.</p>

Just FYI... I see I'm signed up. I really don't remember doing that but obviously I did. But I have a trip booked that date so it will be up to clients whether we "Crackerfest" or not? So mark me down as "tentative."

Oops... realize now that I can "Remove Myself From Event." I did that... but will take part if possible.

I clicked the link to see who had signed up and found my name on the list. I removed it and went back to the thread and clicked the link again to see..... sure enough my name was on the list again. So I removed it again. Something is not working quite right there.

I think the link posted above automatically adds you to the event when you click on it.

I know I added myself to the list a few weeks ago and checked it again today, but my name wasn't on there... there's definatly something wrong here. </p>
