Please use the above stores and when you go in please let them know you appreciate their support with the Crackerfest and they brought many smiles to a lot of young sportsman/women's faces!!</p>

You will notice once again some of the bigger stores did not elect to help out once again this year!! So please reward the local stores which have continued to support our future youth and stay away from the likes of the bigger store which elected to disregard our request for the second year in a role!!! Most of the stores which helped out will bend over backwards to help you out. If they don't have what you want, they will order it for you!!!</p>

Thank you to all the sponsors!!!! Their intended goal was definitely reached and then some. Those kids really relished those prizes and to be able to compete like the big boys was a dream come true for some. It was my first Crackerfest and I really enjoyed getting to meet many more of you. Yes, the fish cleaning was a fun time and an event in and of it self. Thanks to BBass, JSV, TNDoe, Doghouse, Hal Perry, and Churly (and anyone I'm leaving out) for putting effort behind words and making it happen! You definitely made the two boys I had with me very, very happy. They are already talking about defending their championship next year. I can't thank you all enough. Great job!!!! JSV, Crackerfest is now an annual event. I know of at least one person who changed their out-of-town work schedule to bring their kids up to fish with member "David". In other words this has become an annual event that has becom a very important opportunity for parents and grandparent to spend "on-the-water" time with their kids. It has given me an excuse to get away from the tx bass fishing for a weekend, and it was nice to fish without the pressure on! For the last few hours we fished with Landon's 4 year old. He was so fired up about "winning" his Lightning McQueen tackle box. I think it made a great possitive impression on him, and thats what its about!

This is has all come about because of the effort you put into it! And we Thank You! I look forward to next year and will help in any way I can!
