The storms yesterday kept us from being able to do much bass fishing, but we were able to catch a couple of decent LM on a c-rig before dark on a main river bar. This morning two friends and I slid the flat bottom in and headed accross the river to a shellcracker hole that has produced in the past. They were in there thick! I used one worm all day! After the first fish I knew what was up so I just used an old piece of a crappie grub laying in the boat. We ended up keeping 79 huge shellcrackers and 2 bull blue gill. In about an hour and a half then had to hide from more storms that ended the day. We cleaned fish for at least 2 hours, but it was fun!
