Well my dad has been wanting to go crappie fishing,so now that his boat is registered and has insurance we decided to go. WE started out fishing docks in Harrison about 15 foot deep using panfish asasin(sp?) purple shad color. I had caught one within the first 2 cast so I figured it would be a decent day. I proceeded to catch 11 more on the dock with 1 being a keeper. So to this point I have 12 crappie,and dad have 0. We decided to make a run up river a ways,nothing at that spot so we headed to wolftever. We hit a couple docks back there and a caught 3 more small crappie and several bluegill,my dad caught a very small smallmouth and some bluegill. After that headed back to where we started,and I caught 4 more crappie with 2 being keepers. My dad didn't get anymore. I kept telling him I was sorry,but he said he was happy to watch me catch fish. I called him a liar.
We caught all our fish on the purple asasins(sp?) Water temp. was 57 degrees in harison and 61 up near sequoya. Buy 2 pm the water in harrison warmed up to 59.
