Jr and I hit the water and headed out to WT. As soon as we got there we ran into Jamx, float those minners. All small ones he says...BBassJr turns right around and puts 3 nice ones in the boat

This kid kills me! Take him, show him and he wears me out! I only managed 1 keeper there and after about 2 hours, we headed into the creek. Fished a couple of spots that looked good but no real keepes.

On our way back out, we ran into Polo Dog and his Doggy. (cute thing...she licks the fish before they go back..LOL) Polo was kind enough to teach us a thing or two about "dock shooting" BBassJr takes right to it!!! Starts getting fish in the baot and a few non keepers. Polo gets 6 in a row and me..well....I'm over there maiking this dock look like its been shot with a 22 caliper 100 times!!!

I fonally got it and started catching fish.

What a good day on the water. Our first time out for the other white meat and we do pretty well. 11 keepers in the freezer.

Good seeing you guys today!

Great looking mess of crappie. Happy birthday also. It's nice to be able to come on the forum and see nice folks that we all know, catching good fish.

Billy, that boy is gonna wear you out at this rate!emoLaugh Good job on those nice slabs! Thanks for the report too.. Now I can learn from the masters, you are telling their secrets..emoLaugh I have tried flipping docks but I gave up. Lost so many lures to the posts and the ropes.

Man...did I ever need spell check in that post! Sorry, my head was thumpin when we got back.

Yea, we seen a few guys holding on some brush and the group under the bridge , fishing from the baank, were wearing them out! Jmax, myslef and Jr where free floating minnows with a small split shot. I swear the bank fisherman were doing better though.

The dock was a fun learning curve. Not sure but I may go back tomarrow afternoon. Thanks again Polodog for holding class today!

Happy Bday BbassJr!emoParty Glad you two had a good time. Ended up catching about 50 today but only about a third would keep. I truely enjoyed watching the son put it on his dad. Three big slabs in a row and Bbass hadn't had a hit.emoLaugh It was kind of slow but consistent. I don't believe I would have wanted to clean anymore than I did anyways. Bbass consider yourself lucky to get leasons from two upstanding guys like me and polo on the same day. Me on minner difting and polo on shooting the docks. It doesn't get any better than that.emoBigsmile Jmax

It kinda hurts my feelings cause BbassJr did not say anything about my great singing voice when I sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HIM. and I done a great job too. He did say thanks though. LOL ... I guess he put it on ya good today... good report...emoHeart emoParty

Bbass and Jr, it was great seeing you guys out there and getting you onto some fish. Shooting those docks can be addictive you know! Jr is a natural, he saw my shoot a cast and within a couple of minutes he had it down and was out doing old dad right away. BBass did come back though and had a few of the bigger fish that I saw them catch, that's one for the "old guys". Thanks for stopping by and saying hello, it's great to see and talk with faces that I know on the water. What a blesed day out there on the lake! God is so good to us all.

Great report there BB and it's good to hear that you and your son had such a great time.

FA I think you have a super good singing voice.
