Crappie 3-23-07 Chickamauga.

I got out with my two sons today for a little Crappie fishing. We had 9 keepers and probably 20-25 throwbacks. Most were caught in 3-5 feet of water on char. and white twisters 1/16th oz. heads. A few on minners. Good to see TnDoe and later drumking. Lots of 9-9 7/8" fish. Thanks for the info. Jmax, we caught fish in some of those places.

Good to see you in the parking lot, Flip. Good catch. Try 1/32 oz jigs when you fish that shallow and see if you don't do a little better. 1/16 oz seems a little excessive for 3-5 feet of water. emoGeezer
