Has anyone ever tried to salt and pepper crappie fillets and cook them on a George Foreman Grill? The reason I ask is that I had a burger from the grill today and got the idea. The idea of cooking a fillet that way was sparked by the fact that I had cooked some crappie the other day in a hot castiron skillet in a small amount of peanut oil and pressed with a hot castiron bacon press. I had cooked it brown and crisp. I do not think that I have ever enjoyed the taste and texture of fish fillets any more than those fish. I serve them on warm rolls with a little mayo and a pickle. OMG! You talk about a wonderful snack, WOW!

I've never done a George Foreman grill ... don't own one ... but the last few times I've made Flip's donated crappie filets (thanks FLIP!) I've sprinkled them with pepper or cajun seasonings and broiled them in the oven until they were turning slightly golden brown on top. THEY were delicious and healthy!

I have one or two more crappie filet packs left ... I plan on making them the same way!
