crappie day on Watts Bar 3-26

I went up the Emory today and just wore them out. Caught 29 keepers, the biggest was 12". All caught on red/chart tube six feet deep on brush. Water temp was 47 and clear. All fish were in places close to spawnig areas. Good day to be out there.

BPrice, I could not find that 30th keeper, and it was not from a lack of trying. I would say if the water warms this week like it should, they will really move in to the shallows.

Water is up about a foot from winter pool on Watts Bar. I can not wait for the water to rise. Should be in a week or two.

Wheeler is looking at being full by mid April... better be or the fish with start spawning in the channel and all their eggs will be washed away.
