I fished from 9:00 til 2:00 yesterday. I did manage to catch 6 keepers deep and several 9" throwbacks. Considering the wind, drastic surface temp. change and all, I guess that I did ok. I did manage to catch 1 smallmouth bass as a bonus. I caught most of the Crappie near the Island Cove area. I ran to Savannah creek to see if anything was happening there and found the water temp to be 16 degrees less than last week on the surface. I'm sure that deeper that it didn't change that much, but on the surface at least it must have been a shock to the fish to change that much. The rain must have been very cold. I didn't even linger in the creek at all. The rain didn't change the surface that much elsewhere, so I don't know why Savannah creek changed so much. Does anyone know?
