looking for a good place to crappie fish from the bank sense the boat ramps are closed at chester frost

Thursday I tried fishing under wolftiever bridge after trying docks and deep structure with little luck. Wanted to get out of the sun. I saw clusters of fish hanging tight around the shady side of the bridge supports. This guy was on the bank throwing a minnow right where I saw the fish. Saw him reel in a descent size crappie. He pulled his stringer up out of the water and he had a good amount of fish. He left around noon. He was under the north end of the southbound side of the bridge. Casting the minnow to the bay end of the bridge support.
