CRAPPIE FOR CANINE TOURNAMENT, April 14, 2013, Results HEAVY PICS

Overcast skies, but the smiles on everyones faces including the dogs where BRIGHT. We had an amazing turn out of 15 boats for a First time tournament, even some crappie dressed for the occasion in tuxedoes for the weigh in, along with a total of 63 people supporting us! We raised over 1700.00, that will stay local right here for Jerry, Murphy, Danny, and Topper. All of you guys and gals made this a HUGE success with your support and We are very Appreciative! I want to personally thank each and everyone of you! Huge Thanks to all the Donors of Gifts: Tow Boat US, Soddy Custom Tackle, Academy Sports, Scenic City Fishing Richard Simms, Chris Coleman, Mark Visage (MadDog), Tony Pardue (Skinny Water) Erik Almy (Spurhunter) Little Debbie snack cake donor, and Dave Ohms and Steve Blackburn for the scale work, Tim Nichols for the pictures, and The Goodwill Dog Handlers/ Volunteers, Kathy, Linda, and Dee, my Erlanger Co-Workers Little t, and De De and to a huge thanks to Ramona Nichols program director of The Goodwill Assistance Dog Academy, for the endless hours you and Tim spend training these dogs to help other people. All of you and your help made my job easy, and you are the reason this was a Success. THANK YOU THANK YOU......and a big thanks to all the ones that gave me advise and guidance to put this tournament together, and those that did not fish but gave a donation...THANK YOU AGAIN! The dogs had a ball getting to meet everyone, and we cannot thank you enough for helping us raise and train these special canines. emoParty Great Job on raising that kinda money to go to such a worthy cause, all who participated will truly be blessed...glad that I could help out in a little way, all of usole 'dogs'have to stick together and help out the younger dogs to find their way for those in needsuch is the way of the GADA.emoToast I hope that young Wyatt catches a lot of fishes with his new tackle box, tell him ole maddog says to 'spit' on the lure every once in a while for good luck! It was a great time out there on the water with Steve today! We caught tons of fish but not as big as we would have liked. I knew it would be like that. We did catch one nice one, that was a pretty white crappie. Steve early on caught a bass that went close to 4lbs with a big belly on it. Thanks again Steve for fishing with me and to all that put on the tournament. It was great to see everyone out there. I was saddened not to be able to stay for the weigh in as we had a lunch date at 2pm downtown with friends from out of town. Next time I hope to watch everyone weigh in and enjoy more of the stories. Thanks again for a well run tournament for a good cause.

Outstanding tournament...you did your home work...it ain't easy...lots of hard work, effort and long hours...

Really enjoyed fishing with Sport, he's a sho nuff hoot...helluva starter...we struggled all day to find tx fish...very thankful for our finish...
