Well I'm gonna go give crappie fishing a try Saturday around Wolfe ever bridge. Anyone got any tips for a noob who is bank fishing with artificial bait.( bobby garland, panfish assassin, crappie magnet). Need help with colors, weight size and depth. Just a basic starting

Tip number 1,the crappie bite sucked today for a lot of people. I would get a couple dozen minnows if I were you. If thats not a possibility then maybe try 16th or 32nd jig and let it fall to the bottom or on a count and then slowly reel it back in. The bite may be best right when the sun comes up so be the first one there and you will have a jump on everyone else. There are other guys who might chime in that fish that bridge a lot more than I do. Let us know how you do and Good Luck!

Wound up going to wolftever for about an hour to an hour and a half... no bites. Hung up on a bunch of rocks... few people there nobody said they got anything. Few boaters pulled up but they didn't get anything either...

My 5 yr old daughter has expressed interest in going fishing with me. Could anyone pm me a spot to put her on so she could catch a few

If she has never fished before you may want to try a pond first. I think there are plenty of fish in the pond at camp jordan in east ridge.
Just an idea.
