What is the best crappie line? size / brand

Mr. Crappie Hi Vis (Chartreuse) in 4 or 6# is what a lot of us use.
I think Soddy Tackle stock it.

How many yards do you all spool onto the reel ?

I'm not sure how much line I spool on one reel but Walmart usually has some good deals on Mr. Crappie line. I found a great price on a Mr. Crappie Hi-Viz Mega Spool 2,000 yds. there awhile back as I needed to spool a few reels with new line.

I like to fill my spool half way full. I have found that when casting or shooting light jig heads the line will cough
up a big birds nest sometimes if you fill it full.

I would like to say this is original, but it is not. I use nothing but Vicious co-polymer in hi-vis yellow and 4lb. The thanks go to the DK....

I also changed over to Vicious hi-vis yellow 4 an d 6 pound I love it
