Crappie on the Chick 3-31

On a whim I woke at 6:00 and loaded the gear in my car and headed back out to HBSP. Got on the lake at 6:45. Withing 2 minutes I had 2 keeper Crappie and i thought this would be the day to rival wednesday's fishing. Left at 10:00 am with the totals 5 Crappie, only the first 2 were keepers, 4 blue gill. Missed on 2 good bites that I am assuming were crappie. Couldn't get to bite nothing but live bait and even then the fish seemed only mildly interested. Wonder what happened?

Sounds like my day but I fished ten times harder and longer. Like i said in another thread, "This must be one of those days". Nothing!
