Crappie report

Anyone been catching any crappie shallow or deep. Only been able to go twice so far it was cold and windy didn't catch any.

soo about three weeks ago i talked to an old timer at the chickamauga dam. he told me crappie were always there. they are in deep pools about 20 during day. and then come to shore during night to feed. and can catch them on bobby garland jigs as fast as you can reel them in. all through the year. said you just need a fish finder to locate schools a fish, drop to that depth and you can have a hay day... is there any truth to this?? or pulling my leg???
