Ok all you crappie fishermen out there. Its getting close to time to start up the fall and winter crappie tournys again. This year i want to do one for the chattanooga forgotton child fund so we can help out local kids who might not get a christmas and also in november i want to do one again for the toys for tots........ If anyone has any dates they think would be good for these tourneys please feel free to say so. Last year i did the toys for tots tourny on the opening day of gun/ deer season. And even though we had a good turn out and collected lots of toys, we would have done better if i had just asked before i planned it. But it was only my second tourny i had ever held. Also if anyone knows where to borrow a set of scales for a more accurate weigh in i would really be thankful...... emoThanks emoAngler

I may fish a few here and there. I would however like to keep my catch. I have a few boys at work that could use a good meal or two.

I have no problem with you keeping your catch and anyone else keeping theirs. At a couple of the tournaments when everyone wants to keep some i always give mine to whoever wants them.

emoToast groomer we would love to have you there. i will be doing one per month and the first two tournys will be for charity...... the way the economy is there will be lots more kids not getting christmas this year. And i want to do all i can to help those in need.
