CUTTHROAT CHICK REPORT 6-15-06

WENT OUT LAST NIGHT WITH THE BUMBLEBEE KID ABOUT 6:15.PUT IN AT CHESTERFROST AND RAN DOWN TO AROUND HARRISON BAY.MADE IT JUST IN TIME TO WATCH THE DOGFIGHT BLAST OFF.LET ME TELL YA WHOEVER WAS IN THE ALL WHITE BULLET HAD TO CLEAN THERE PANTS OUT AFTER BLAST OFF BECAUSE WE WATCHED THEM GET COMPLETLY OUT OF THE WATER AT LEAST TWICE!!!!ANYWAY FISHED A HUMP AND CAUGHT 2 SMALL FISH ON RIGS AND FISHED A COUPLE MORE OFF SHORE STUFF WITH NO LUCK.WE FINALLY DECIDED TO FISH TOPWATER THE REST OF THE EVENING .WE BOTH CAUGHT A COUPLE OF SMALL FISH ON A LUCKYCRAFT SPLASH TAIL AND A CUTTHROAT BUZZBAIT.i SAW THE BIGGEST SWARM OF MAYFLIES I HAVE EVER SEEN.THEY WERE UP AROUND TREES AND THEY WERE SO LOUD IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS POURING DOWN RAIN!

8 something won it, 7+ got second and it took 5.60 to get in the $$$, I just spoke with a buddy who was there.

Wow!emoEek That is poor, I have some pet bass I could have beat that weight with.emoLaugh Why can't it ever be that slow when I fish these big ones. It takes like 15 to win and 9 to be in the money whenever I go.emoScratch Jmax

Yes I know, I am talking a three fish deal. The 5.6 is low even for those isn't it???? It seems in the ones I have fished that are with those same folks they do much better than that normally.emoSmile Jmax
