Dalton Utilities Classic at Logan Martin 11/13/2006

We blasted at 4am friday morning from lake side, the water was down about 5 ft... the fog was quite harsh until about 9 or 10ish ... with blue skies and warm weather after the fog headed out, my partner and i decided to go for the big boys, we'll we didn't succeed, after day 1 we had 2 keepers for 2lbs, first place was at 12lbs w/ a 4lb big fish ... day 2, better weather of course, it was overcast with a few sprinkles, to say the least we sucked it up on the second day as well, we weighed in 4 fish for a lil over 5lbs, the winner for both days weighed in about 22lbs with the new big fish being 5.4 ... i wasnt to happy about my first trip to the logan martin, maybe next time will be better or it will be the last timeemoTongue ........ also thanks to my stealth 1 charger (www.chargeontherun.com) i was able to fish 2 whole days without having to plug up and charge my batteries, thanks stealth 1

Just curious...does Stealth 1 Charging offer CFF members a discount of at least 10% for the free advertising they receive through your posts?

I had a conversation with Mr. Haun regarding that a while back, In that post I am breaking no rules and am only advertising from my behalf to the users who read my post ... I am in no way misrepresenting and am able to express my appreciation to certain products as i wish.

Good catch Jason - It's great when CFF members know this policy. In this case its fine...I have agreements with a few members who have been kind enough to ask first as well as guides on CFF allowing a link to their business only in "Fishing Reports" they post. I figure its worth it to get good reports contributed, but it may also be very smart for any business here to offer discounts to CFF members...

I want to avoid one-shot posts for free ads elsewhere on CFF...you know like we have seen when a business joins just to post once to say "Hey you need to buy my product, Visit my new website, I have a sale on jigs this weekend" ...and then we never hear from them again. Those posts can really clutter a site if they are allowed and may very well be deleted if they don't come with a minumum 10% discount to all CFF members.

If we have a good consistent report contributor on CFF then I don't mind giving a little help to their local business in return for good fishing reports. I have always encouraged local bait shops to post reports of what they are hearing with a link to their web site but no one has taken me up on it yet...maybe they don't have computers online...

emoSorry...my bad. I just found it odd that most of his posts appear to be blatant ads for Stealth 1 Chargers. Judging by the lack of replies, it apparently leaves a bad taste in the mouths of other members, as well.
If I was off-base, I do apologize.

i appoligize to you Jason if the content i post offends you in any way, or any other members as well. i know i enjoy reading posts from other anglers and dont intend to get to personal with their posts, maybe some of us have different outlooks on the cff. if i run a product that i find is worthy of being mentioned and that makes a great difference in my fishing experiences, id like to share that with other anglers to possibly improve their fishing and boating experience. if my posts offend anyone i appoligize
