The chic was not good to me this weekend. Was looking forward to getting out after getting my boat out of the shop and seeing the reports that have been posted with some big fish (congrats to all) but I think the front that blew in Friday shut em down for me. Also saw tons of boats on the water this weekend too so the fish have had a ton of pressure put on them this weekend. Sat about the only thing we accomplished was getting wet and cold so we headed back to the ramp around lunch. Got back out today and found lots of bait in the backs of creeks and cuts but only managed to get a couple of short fish to play. With water temps 54-57 we fished creeks coming off the main lake from the mouth to the back with no luck or sign of life until we would get all the way to the back which left me scratching my head didn't think they would be all the way in the back quite yet. Threw a jerkbait and rig along with traps and chatters on chunk gravel and sand banks from 3-18ft of water. After striking out in the creeks we checked a few places on the main lake around some submerged islands and bars with no signs of life other than massive schools of crappie or whites. Oh well gotta love 3 day weekends so I'll be back out there tomorrow hoping for better results.

Same story here too. Fished from 10 to 3:30 with little action. Missed a good one on the rig. nothing on the jerk, crank or trap. Boats on every spot. looking to get back out tomorrow after I fix my tilt/trim. It would not go up when I got in. Tomorrow looks good for the fisherman but the fish may be like today. Good luck.

I'm sure there were boats everywhere, I may try to brave the crowds this afternoon for a few hours. I'm sure it'll be packed on the lake.
Thx for the report! :)
