I'll be in Daytona Beach from 11/18-11/25 for Thanksgiving with the inlaws. Does anyone have any charters that they suggest? I'm looking for inshore fishing for trout/redfish. I'll be taking the Sea Spirit out for my deep sea fishing itch. My father-in-law has never been inshore fishing so I told him I'd split a boat with him. Thanks for the info and I'll be sure to post pics when we get back.

Not sure about in shore charters but we went out with the sea Spirit 2 weeks ago. We caught several fish (snapper, grouper, sea bass). These guys are really good. If you dont catch fish in just a few minutes or the bite slows down, they move somewhere else. Water was extremely rough that day. Several got sea sick. I'm dying to go back soon. Let me know who you use for In shore. I'd like to try that sometime also.

If you log on to the Florida sportsman forum and ask in the east central general info section you will get responses from plenty of inshore guides.I would recommend that you book with someone out of Edgewater and fish Mosquito lagoon. That is about 30 miles south of Daytona and where you will find some of the best redfish and speckled trout fishing on the east coast.

We ended up booking with Triple Threat charters. He's got a 25' with a 225. It was only $200 for 4 hours. I'm gonna try and put my father in law on some big reds. I'll have reports and pics when we get back. Thanks for the input!
