Me, me!!! I was up past midnight watching DVR'd DC shows. I just can't imagine working in seas like that. emoEek

I did the DVR thing too and watched them last night. I really enjoy that program.

Doesn't look like it is going to be a good season for them with the sporadic catches and low numbers of "keepers."

I love the show, but I only watch when they have the marathon's and show them back-to-back. I cant stand not knowing what happens on the next show when they spreed them out.

I don't watch it much, but it's interesting for sure!! I remember back in the day trying to find a shrimping boat to work from in Key West so I could live down there. I am sure there are dangers in the shriping boats, but not like those dudes on deadliest catch!! That's nuts!

Yeah I was wondering about the Maverick too. Is it just me or dose anyone else get jealous watching this show? I would love to do this..... maybe not for the 130 day season but at least a week of it

Yup. Watched it since it first aired. For some reason, I'm drawn in too... Can't imagine going through all that and pull up an empty string as they do often. Must be emotional as it is physically demanding.

Hmmm? Figured you'd know all about empty strings. emoLaugh emoPoke emoBigsmile

I feel like I just found out the tooth-fairy aint real.....I hope this isnt what it seems. I liked the show because it is not full of staged crap....

Well, obviously they "fudged" a little. But I've seen enough of their "real" video to know "it could have been real." I know all too well how easy it is to mix & match video. But one thing you usually can't fake is raw, human emotion.

I like the Deadliest Catch but have my doubts about anything on that channel after watching something about a group going to Alaska looking for Global Warming. Biggest farce I have seen on TV so far. They kept talking about retreating glaciers and even slipped in a few comments about how they have been retreating like this for over 100 years. I visited one of the glaicers they filmed - it has retreated 170 miles since first discovered in the 1700s. Biggest loss - 10 miles between 1860 and 1870 - guess all those Civil War SUVs messed up the environment.

The stuff with the bears was laughable.
