My dad lives on Mahan Gap and has deep deep claw marks in his bumper and down the side of his car. I took a look at it and it mega deep, they are mainly on the bumper, which is only about 12 inches off the ground. What kind of animals are known for doing things like this? Sorry for the dumb question, but I have never seen anything like this.

I have a trailcam photo of a black bear taken by my buddys trailcam real close to Mahanadi gap. Pic was taken a week ago. I'll post it when I get back in town

Couldn't resist....

Man thats crazy I do know that my stepdad moved a 90hp honda fourwheeler up against the house because there was something getting under the house and the next day he came out the seat was chewd to pieces and the fourwheeler was moved away from the house. He said if it can do that, then I will just let it be. Would a bear get under a house?

That really sounds like you have a bear looking for some where to hibernate for the winter , I would be calling TWRA if it was me !!!

Tell him to get in touch with the local DNR and they may come and set traps for it. Since it is causing damage and getting too close to humans they will more than likely come and set traps and transport it to a wilderness area. They may even put a transmiter on it to see if it makes its way back to civilization and becomes a problemed bear again. If that happens they will probably put it down.
