Deep sea fishing trip

A few of us from work is going to Savannah in September to go on a 10 hour fishing trip. I have never been on a trip out of Savannah. Any suggestions? Just wondering what fishing is like in the Atlantic. I have been on trips in the Gulf and done very well. emoGrouphug

What are you looking to go after out there? And do you want a private charter or party boat?

We are looking for any type of fish we can catch. We have a private charter already booked. I was just wondering what the fishing was like? None of us have ever been fishing in the Atlantic. Some of us have fished in the Gulf

Hey guys,,
I was in the Coast Guard out of Tybee Isl. for three years and the fishing can be great down around that area, if your bottom fishing exspect some huge red snapper out on the reef,, Kings and Amberjack are another great fishery down there,, in shore you can get sharks, reds, tarpen, and trout, Wassaw inlet has some greast fishing if you can get on a boat, fish the inlet between tybee and little tybee from the beach, can pick up little sharpnose skarks, and whitting, also some of the bigest stingrays youve ever seen...man sounds fun,,,check out this site She is by far the best "MHO" charter service down there...and a great lady as well... good luck...

I was going to suggest miss judy. Shes great. There is a party boat that if I remember if off oatland Island on the way to tybee. Fish fort pulaski's bridge also. This time of year you can usually also get some good fish off the pier as well.

I went out on that party boat out of tybee last year and caught at alot of fish. Really big red snapper. The fishing is good down there. The seas were really calm also. The price was right. When we got back to the dock some guy did not want his fish and game them to me. So I brought alot of fish back.
